School's Out....Summer's In

School may be out but there is a lot going on this summer to keep us all busy! Already, there have been 4 different groups here from the U.S. working on various projects around the Bible school and making a very wonderful difference! You'll all notice the freshly painted benches, fences and playground equipment, but you may not notice the parsonage, with its floors and windows and newly cleaned and repaired interior, or the roofing that has been repaired or replaced over the elementary school. There was also a huge undertaking underground at the parsonage, with an enormous trench dug and pipes repaired and then a new porch area and other cement type patchwork done in the main areas in front of the parsonage and Bible School. These are the builder's groups who come...and they don't mess around...they are here to work and work they do! I have been blessed by their commitment to work so hard year after year and I know that everyone at the Bible School has been too. Now, the people of Martin.....ya, I think they see it too....every year, all throughout the year, different people groups come to this church community to serve with Love and commitment to them....there must be something special going on here to bring people back year after year....and I think the people of Martin see that. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will draw them closer to find out just Who it is that makes this place so special.....
