I was a little afraid to travel so far away all by myself, but I knew I could trust Him to keep me in His Hands and that nothing would happen apart from His Will for me. At one point, early in the morning I headed across the Elizabeth Bridge and started up the Geller Hill to the Citadel at the top. The climb is pretty steep and pretty far up but well paved. At about the halfway mark I was feeling all alone up there in the woods...I hadn't seen a soul and my mind started working overtime and getting the better of me until I was almost ready to turn back.....but I decided to ask God if He would protect me instead and let me know He was with me. Around the very next bend, came a lone woman on her way back down. I asked her if it was 'safe' up there and she said 'absolutely'! Tears of joy streamed down my face as I climbed up the rest of the mountain - praising my Savior for His Mercy and Grace in providing a woman to minister His Peace and Assurance to me! I felt His presence with me all around the city the entire time I was there!
The views are incredible, the scenery absolutely breathtaking, the weather impeccable - what a glorious Easter it was!

Glad you had a good weekend. I would love to go to Budapest. Those old European cities are so magnificent. When I was in Romania the first time in 95 I spent a week in a Hungarian village tucked in Transylvania. Technically, it was in Romania but the language, food, culture and of course, the people were Hungarian. Interesting, since the land went back and forth in the wars over the years it still stayed intact as Hungarian. It was a great experience being in that "willage". Linda
