It was incredible! Wow! What a powerful performance....I've never seen anything like it! These kids did a great job....they did a couple of plays. The first one was about a modern day Barabbas and how kids can be led into bad attitudes and behavior by hanging out with the wrong crowd. Very good - even in Slovak!
The next play was done to the song "Turn Around Bright Eyes" by Heart. It was six kids with signs around their necks that said different things like, 'love of money', alcohol addiction, drug addiction, self love, and something else. One girl was taken in by all these real life afflictions and as the the other kids (who were the addictions) surrounded her so she couldn't escape, she began to call out to 'someone'. Then a boy came on stage and stood up in front of the makeshift cross and with each thrust of the nail into Jesus' hands, one addiction hits the floor and falls away from the girl until all the addictions are laying at her feet. The girl then drops to floor in tears at a loss for how to live. Jesus dies on the cross, people come to take him away....the girl continues in her tears and then the Risen Christ comes back to her and lifts her up, letting her know He was there.

Sounds wonderful. Glad you were able to enjoy their talent. The message of Jesus transcends all cultures of mankind. That is what is so fantastic about missions. He is everywhere!!!! All times, all nations, all the earth, and all the heavens. Bless you.
take care. Linda : )
Hi Linda!
That is so true....and it really is wonderful to know that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever - everywhere in the world. I always thought He was and I had an idea He was...but now I know He is!! Bless you too...and thank you for encouragement! Happy Easter!
