Line Dancing
Line dance class was a blast! We learned two dances - Electric Slide and Watermelon Crawl and oh my gosh were we exhausted! I had about maybe 15 people at the start but about 5 left after about an hour. It was soooo much fun! Of the 15 people I would say I have 4 or 5 that could take the intermediate dance lessons. But, for now, I think we need to get a good repetoire of basic dances down and the names of the different steps and how they feel on the beginner dances and then move into the intermediate ones and then on to the advanced ones gradually - that way I can hopefully take more with me to the advanced level. Of course, I could split the class and teach beginner dances on Tuesday and intermediate/advanced on Thursday. Well, we see how it goes. I took two very, very bad pictures that I can't even post...but we dance again Thursday so I'll take better ones then!

Hi Mary, How is the dancing going? Is it in their culture to have other types of dancing? Maybe they will teach you some of theirs. Hope all is going well for you. Are you becoming friends with any of the students or is it only a student/teacher relationship? God bless you. Keep planting those seeds. Linda : )
