Cheers!

After Christmas, I had the immense pleasure of meeting my dear friend Kim in London for the New Year! What a blast! We saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace and met a very nice man who gave great information - like where we could see 80% of the entire ceremony with front row seats! Well, they weren't seats...we had to stand, but still!

We saw many sites in London : London Tower, London Bridge, Westminster Abby,
Kimmie in the Underground (Tube as they call it). We were also very fortunate to see my personal favorites the British Museum, Victoria and Alexander Museum, Stonehenge and the Roman Baths in Bath, England. It confirms everything you've ever read in the Bible when you see original artifacts in person - history....I love it!
These two fellows heard me say something about my faith in Jesus and jumped up and ran over to me and in a very hushed and urgent tone said..."shhh...are you one of those..you know, Christians?" I said "Yes, I am!" and then said, "shhh, please, keep it down, don't say that so loud...do you want to get us all killed? It's not that we care so much, we say live and let live, but there's others who don't take to kindly to Christians...so just, be careful, keep it quiet". How much fun was that! They played their parts well.....and they startled me at first jumping up and running over to me like they did! You know, it was interesting though to hear them - the urgency and concern in their voices - for their very lives, and mine I guess.....made me think about how it really was back then. And I bless and thank my God for allowing so many of us to live in a free world today where we can say we are Followers of the Way, we are Christians, without fear of death.....and then I pray for those who are still under fear of death for proclaiming Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Well, I hope you've enjoyed the pictures - I had a wonderful time....I hope you all have a very Happy New Year!
